LED screens

Indoor LED screens

An indoor LED wall runs at a fraction of the brightness of an outdoor screen and follows the light in the room. For reception halls, showrooms and shops where moving image carries the attention.

What this gives you

From first sketch to maintenance — one partner who handles everything in-house.

01

One partner, from A to Z

You call one number. We measure, design, produce, install and maintain. No fragmented responsibility, no waiting on subcontractors pointing at each other.

02

You see it before it exists

A 3D visualisation of your own façade or space, by day and by night. We only start producing once that image is right. No surprises afterwards.

03

In-house production in Olen

Custom work from our own workshops, without intermediaries. That means a shorter lead time, a sharper price, and changes that are genuinely still possible.

04

Built to last

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Colourfast, weather-resistant materials and energy-efficient LED lighting. With long-term service and maintenance.

Background

A screen that follows the light in the room

Indoors, brightness works the other way round. An outdoor screen of five thousand nits is blinding inside; an indoor screen runs at a fraction of that and adapts to the ambient light. That is the real difference between an indoor and an outdoor LED wall: not the technology, but how it is tuned to the room.

Pixel pitch sets the viewing distance

Pixel pitch is the distance between two LEDs, in millimetres. Rule of thumb: the viewing distance in metres roughly equals the pitch in millimetres. A screen with a 2.5 pitch looks sharp from about two and a half metres; closer than that and you see the dots. In a reception hall where people pass at five metres a coarser pitch is enough; in a meeting room or showroom where people stand right in front of it you need a fine pitch. That is also the biggest cost driver.

Where it works

Reception halls and staff restaurants, where the screen alternates news, figures and welcome messages. Showrooms, where the product image moves with the season. Shops, where a video wall supports the window display from the inside. And meeting or control rooms, where several sources have to sit side by side.

Mounting and maintenance

Modules hang on a frame against the wall or are recessed into a niche. Allow access for maintenance: with a flush installation that happens from the front using magnetic modules, otherwise from behind. Count on a power supply and a data source on site, plus a media player or control station.

What determines the price?

Pixel pitch weighs heaviest: finer means more LEDs per square metre and therefore quickly a multiple. Then the screen area, the mounting method — wall frame, niche or free-standing — and the control system. A screen fed with content remotely also needs a media player and software.

Prices are available in the Herva-Doublet Platform.

Tell us about your space

Send us a photo of the wall, the dimensions you want and the distance from which people will look at the screen. From that we determine the right pitch and the build-up.
