What this gives you
From first sketch to maintenance — one partner who handles everything in-house.
One partner, from A to Z
You call one number. We measure, design, produce, install and maintain. No fragmented responsibility, no waiting on subcontractors pointing at each other.
You see it before it exists
A 3D visualisation of your own façade or space, by day and by night. We only start producing once that image is right. No surprises afterwards.
In-house production in Olen
Custom work from our own workshops, without intermediaries. That means a shorter lead time, a sharper price, and changes that are genuinely still possible.
Built to last
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Colourfast, weather-resistant materials and energy-efficient LED lighting. With long-term service and maintenance.
Picnic tables for parks, schools and company sites
A picnic table is a table and two benches in a single unit. That sounds like a detail, but it is exactly what makes the piece suitable for the public domain: there is nothing to take off, slide away or carry off, and after a busy weekend it is still where it belongs.
We supply picnic sets to local authorities, schools, campsites, nature reserves, companies and care institutions, from a single set along a walking route to the complete furnishing of a school playground or a company terrace.
Where they are used most
In parks and along walking and cycling routes, picnic sets turn a spot into a destination: people stay there instead of walking past. In school environments they serve equally as an outdoor classroom and as a place for the lunch break. On company sites they are increasingly installed as an outdoor workspace and as an alternative to the canteen.
That difference in use has consequences. A set that is occupied all day at a school wears differently from a set used a few times a week in a nature reserve.
Versions
Classic A-frame
Table and benches in one frame, in timber or timber on a steel underframe. Robust, familiar and good value.
Wheelchair-accessible version
With an overhanging tabletop at one or both ends, so that somebody in a wheelchair can join the table instead of sitting beside it. For public facilities, schools and care institutions this is increasingly the standard choice, and rightly so.
Modular and round sets
Round tables or linked modules that bring larger groups together. Interesting on playgrounds and terraces.
Child height
Lower versions for nursery and primary schools. An adult seat height simply does not work there.
Material and maintenance
- Hardwood from certified forestry: warm, comfortable and repairable. It weathers to grey without treatment, which is an aesthetic choice, not a defect. Anybody who wants to keep the original colour treats it periodically.
- Composite from recycled plastic: maintenance-free, it does not splinter and it barely fades. The choice in places with intensive use or vandalism, and in projects with circular objectives.
- Steel or concrete as an underframe: increases the stability and the lifespan of the whole.
- Full concrete: virtually indestructible, but heavy and permanently placed.
We say honestly when a lighter version is enough. A quiet company terrace does not need a vandal-resistant set; at a youth centre or a skate park it is exactly the sensible choice.
Placement
A picnic set is best placed on a level, paved or well-draining surface. In grass a set settles unevenly over time and mowing becomes awkward; a paved footing or a semi-paved surface solves that.
Anchoring is advisable in publicly accessible places. Without anchoring a set moves over the course of a season, or disappears. We anchor chemically or mechanically, depending on the substrate.
Think about shade as well, and about the distance to a litter bin. A picnic spot without a litter bin produces litter within the month.
What determines the price?
Picnic tables have no fixed price per unit. The cost follows from the material and the finish, by far the largest factor, the version, whether classic, wheelchair-accessible, modular or child height, the number of units, since the cost per set drops noticeably across a series, the anchoring and the substrate, transport, which weighs heavily for concrete or heavy timber sets, and the installation conditions.
Send us the number of sets, the location and the type of users, and you will get a quotation in which those items are set out separately.
Asking for advice
Not sure between timber and composite, or between a classic and an accessible version? Put the location to us. We come and look, and give reasoned advice before a quotation follows.
