Island-shaped seating that wraps around a core or planting. Ideal for dividing an open floor into smaller, inviting places without putting up walls.
Green Furniture Concept is a Swedish design company creating modular placemaking solutions for public interiors. Seating that curves with the space, lighting that absorbs sound, and greenery that lets a hall breathe. Herva-Doublet is reseller and project partner in Belgium: we advise, draw up the layout, install and remain your point of contact afterwards.

Waiting areas, lobbies and circulation zones are rarely designed to stay in. Straight rows of chairs fill the floor, sound bounces between hard surfaces, and people would rather stand somewhere else. The result is a space that functions but doesn't work: visitors feel uncomfortable, and the place gives nothing back.
Green Furniture Concept takes a different approach. Seating follows the shape of the space instead of cutting through it. Lighting does double duty by also absorbing sound. And greenery breaks the scale, so a hall of hundreds of square metres feels like a series of places rather than one large void.
Every range is modular and highly configurable. The exact options — dimensions, finishes, backrests, tabletops, integration of greenery or lighting — differ per range. Together with you we look at which range suits your space and its use.

Island-shaped seating that wraps around a core or planting. Ideal for dividing an open floor into smaller, inviting places without putting up walls.

Benches with a rising backrest, combinable with tabletops. Suited to places where people sit longer: waiting zones, study spots, informal meeting places.

The modular classic: straight, curved and angled segments you link together into exactly the line your space calls for. From a short bench to a continuous ribbon tens of metres long.

Continuous seating lines without visible interruptions, for large circulation zones where a calm visual is important.

Lighting that dampens sound at the same time. The leaves are made of sound-absorbing and flame-retardant felt. As a pendant, a floor lamp or as a Leaf Lamp Tree that visually brings a tall space down.

Green Furniture Concept designs according to circular principles. That is not a label but a way of working, and it translates into four concrete choices:
Materials are chosen for durability, origin and reusability. Which materials are used in which range differs — ask us for the material sheet of the range you are considering.
The construction is calculated for the intensity of public spaces. Not furniture that has to be replaced after three years.
Where applicable, parts are individually replaceable. A damaged slat or seat then doesn't mean the whole element has to go.
For the ranges where this applies, components remain available for reordering. That way a configuration keeps growing instead of ageing.
Important: the exact material, repairability and lifespan characteristics differ per range and per version. We are happy to provide the specifications of the range you are considering, so you know what you are buying.
Long waits, high throughput, lots of noise
Waiting areas where comfort and calm make the difference
Lecture halls, study landscapes and circulation zones
Resting places that make visitors stay longer
Lobbies, informal meeting places, canteens
Libraries, administrative centres, cultural centres
We look at the space, its use and the budget. Which range fits, how many seats are realistic, and where does the acoustic gain lie?
For larger projects we work on this with the spatial design team of Green Furniture Concept. You see the configuration in your own floor plan before anything is ordered.
We set out the modules, finishes and options. You receive one quotation, including delivery and installation.
Our teams install on site, aligned with your opening hours and site planning.
Questions, additional orders or an extension? You call us, not Sweden.
You can purchase Green Furniture Concept in several ways. What we add is the process around it: a point of contact in your language and time zone, experience with public interiors in Belgium, and the option to combine this furniture with the rest of your fit-out — wayfinding, acoustics, facade cladding and signage all come from the same house with us.
For public tenders we compile the technical documentation your specifications require.
Send us your floor plan or a few photos of the space. You get a first assessment of what is possible — which range fits, how many seats, and what the acoustic gain could be.
What you see here is a selection. Our range is considerably wider — in sizes, materials and finishes that we cannot all show online. Tell us what you need it for and where it has to go, and we will work out what fits.
