Illuminated signage

Built-up letters

Built-up letters are individual three-dimensional letters fixed separately to your façade. They give depth and a high-end impression that a flat panel never achieves. The question is not whether you light them, but how: front-lit, halo-lit, or not at all. That choice decides how your façade looks after dark — whether you stand out or stay understated.

Variants

Built-up letters – front-lit

Built-up letters – front-lit

The light shines forward through the face: the letter itself lights up. The most eye-catching version, visible from a distance. The choice along a busy road or between competing façades.

Built-up letters – halo-lit

Built-up letters – halo-lit

The light is thrown backwards onto the façade. The letter stays dark and stands out against a halo. Subtler and more refined — the choice for offices, hotels and brands that would rather not shout.

Built-up letters – non-illuminated

Built-up letters – non-illuminated

Three-dimensional, with a cast shadow in daylight, but invisible after dark. The choice when a permit rules out illumination, or when your premises are only visited during the day.

What this gives you

From first sketch to maintenance — one partner who handles everything in-house.

01

One partner, from A to Z

You call one number. We measure, design, produce, install and maintain. No fragmented responsibility, no waiting on subcontractors pointing at each other.

02

You see it before it exists

A 3D visualisation of your own façade or space, by day and by night. We only start producing once that image is right. No surprises afterwards.

03

In-house production in Olen

Custom work from our own workshops, without intermediaries. That means a shorter lead time, a sharper price, and changes that are genuinely still possible.

04

Built to last

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Colourfast, weather-resistant materials and energy-efficient LED lighting. With long-term service and maintenance.

The three versions differ not in material but in the direction of the light, and that changes everything about the effect.

Front-lit: the light shines forward through the face of the letter, so the letter itself glows. This is the most eye-catching version, visible from a distance, and the logical choice along a busy road or on an industrial estate where you have to stand out between other façades.

Halo-lit, also called back-lit or reverse-lit letters: the light shines backwards onto the wall. The letter itself stays dark and is silhouetted against a halo of light. Subtler, and generally read as more upmarket. The choice for offices, hotels and brands that would rather not shout.

Non-illuminated: no lighting at all. Still three-dimensional, still casting a shadow in daylight, but invisible after dark. The choice when a permit rules out illumination, or when your premises only see visitors during the day.

We produce in plastic, aluminium or a combination of both, in any RAL or PMS colour. You receive a 3D visualisation of your own façade beforehand, by day and by night, so you can judge the three versions side by side before anything goes into production.

Mind the permit: illuminated fascia signage requires planning permission in virtually every Belgian municipality.

Frequently asked questions

What you see here is a selection. Our range is considerably wider — in sizes, materials and finishes that we cannot all show online. Tell us what you need it for and where it has to go, and we will work out what fits.
